Built for Active-Duty Military

Hampton Roads’ only clinic dedicated exclusively to the Navy BCA tape test.

Make Tape exists for one reason: helping service members pass the Body Composition Assessment. Everything about our clinic — our protocol, our pricing, our measurement standards, our confidentiality — is designed around the realities of military life.

The Stakes

Why the BCA Matters

As of January 2026, the Department of Defense measures every service member’s waist circumference twice yearly. Three BCA failures within four years results in administrative separation — a career-ending event that also puts your retirement pension at risk.

Hampton Roads is home to roughly 90,000 active-duty personnel across Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and joint commands. The single biggest factor in BCA failure is waist circumference. The BCA Ready Protocol is engineered to move the number that matters most.

Our Approach

Built Around Military Reality

We know what underway schedules, TAD orders, watch rotations, and PT calendars look like. That’s why we run a compressed 4-week protocol (four sessions, 75 minutes a week) rather than a 12-week plan that’s impossible to keep. If you get sudden orders, we pause your protocol and pick it up when you return. No session is lost.

We use the exact Navy-standard measurement technique at the navel to establish your baseline, so the number we’re tracking is the same number your command will measure. No guesswork. No surprises.

HIPAA-Confidential

Off Your Military Medical Record

This is not a Tricare-billed procedure. We do not communicate with your command, your medical officer, or your chain of command. Your treatment is protected under HIPAA and stays between you and your clinician.

The treatments involve no medications, no injectables, and no substances of any kind. Nothing about the BCA Ready Protocol will appear on a drug test, urinalysis, flight physical, or routine medical screening.

Financing

Protect Your Pension for $92/Month

The BCA Ready Protocol is $3,300. Financing is available through Navy Federal Credit Union, CareCredit, and Cherry — typical monthly payments run around $92/month. Service members receive a 10–15% military discount on all protocols.

FSA and HSA funds are accepted. Tricare does not cover elective body contouring, but many service members find financing more flexible and more private than an insurance claim.
